El Shaadai is currently working on his debut album project entitled "E-Class: The El is Silent No More" which features national producer of the year winner Doc Sizzo & internationally recognized producer Big Gipp as some of the producers involved with the project. El Shaadai aka Rashaad Powell was the middle child out of three born in a multi-racial family where he struggled in his youth to fit in. The best outlet he found to release his tension was through pen and paper where he escaped his frustration through vivid poetical prose. As a young adult he would find himself fighting to overcome a life style of drugs, violence, gang affiliation, and self-hatred which he admits was a path of death and self-destruction. After learning that he and the woman he was involved with at the time was with child, he turned away from his out of control life style and decided to become a responsible man and took measures to regain control of his life which also ultimately lead to him allowing God into his life and heart. Now over a decade later, El Shaadai is ministering through music and is a beloved and devoted husband & father, laborer in the Kingdom of God and friend and brother to many.
