                                                         PEACE IN THE TRAGEDY
                                                            A PTSD MANTRA

                          Wretched animal accosted in a corner..............
                               Teased and shaken
                          To an extent that only bolting
                                  will cure...........
                           Teeth showing buff intact

                I AM SCARIER THAN THE SITUATION

                            Let me explain.....................
                            I am scared therefore I scare
                            I am afraid therefore I fear................
                            I am bitter therefore I embitter
                            I am untrusting therefore I gossip
                               Accuse and lie to you
                            I am broken,,,,I assume you are too!
                                 Isn't everyone broken?
    Feasable to a fixer of others
        I am a fixer of broken hearts
      Your heart shattered...shatter in response
    Carrying around those tool...I am pride.......
         so therefore I AM PROUD, TOO PROUD TO ADMIT...........
                                      I am broken!!!!!!!

                             Shattered hearts are hards of mistrust
                             Sadness scattered and strewn about
                             I am hopeful when I see me in the reflection of GOD
                                        in a loved one

                             I recognize the heart therefore I am heart
                             I recognize the soul so therefore I am spirit
                             I recognize the healing so there I am healed
                             I am grateful so therefore I am great  

                             I am no longer that scared animal.........
                                I am majestic and humble
                                   I am a healer
                              I am light and love incarnated

                          I       AM      PEACE            IN   THE     TRAGEDY!!!!!!!!


    Power of healing is alive and well in all of us....this work by Sherri who suffers from PTSD reflects the positive and the negative when dealing with PTSD....I post others works from time to time...including my own written at a time when I thought I would never heal and get better......these works and the survivors of trauma reflect the courage that it takes to come back from a dark place.........Join us on COACH'S CORNER to share your thoughts, heartaches.....answer your questions and share that which sometime stays hidden for long periods of time in our memories!
