  This is going to be a show with two guests Bobbe from Trinity Angels.com and Sherri from Drips and Energy Drains, a writer...both survivors of trauma life events. Both ladies have accomplished great creative channels and have learned to live with their traumas...Coach Holly will be joining them as a survivor of trauma and a Host. We will be setting the show up as a talk and chat...question and answer...call ins are welcome...we will be in our infancy stage so enjoy.....and join us.

  BATTERED WIVES SYNDROME AND PTSD ZEN VS THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

   When You are Being Stalked and Harassed and You Feel You Are In Fear Of Your Life!!!!!  You Need To Take Steps: 

  
  

   
  

  This week I had the opportunity of helping an abused family here in Philadelphia.  I had some serious lessons in the power of active live real PTSD/Abuse Situations and the dynamics.  While it is fresh in my mind I am briefly going to share the experience and the emotions.
  

  
  

  What I saw was live FEAR....displayed by every member of the family....but the most intense fear was the mother....of EVERYTHING.  It was as if she was being hunted...and you could not visibly see what was stalking us.  She was shaking, she was crying and she could barely walk.

    I  had a wave of feeling flood back for me...in witnessing this....and actually had a  PTSD flashback.   This is how intense the fear was!!  I had to stay calm....and follow through...anyone who has PTSD knows this is diffficult.  I was there to help.

  
  

  Even though Mr. X was not visibly in front of us....he was actually there for this family. A real threat of losing there lives if they defied this person. I was told he would kill all of them...and they all believe that.  It is a real fear...MR. X was a criminal with a history of violence not just toward his family but he had other warrants out on him ............................ I felt their fear.............................and I had respect for what they were feeling.  He was a stalker and a bully with a criminal record.

  
  

  What do you do?  To get families out of nightmare...you have to give them empowerment...and almost permission to proceed in gaining their lives back.

  
  

  I proceeded to make a check list for them as a guideline:

  
  

  ***** File a PFA

  *****Gain a police escort to get your possessions....do not attempt this alone without             that escort  DO NOT TAKE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO MIGHT LOOSE CONTROL.            They are too close to the situation.

  
  

  *****Do not hand your address or phone number where you are staying to any one       inform those who have it...not to give it out without your permission.

  
  

  *****If you are battered find a SAFE house and do not relent in breaking down and        "trying to work things out" with your spouse...listen to the SAFE house people             and counselors....most have them have been through this...they can:

  
  

  If all your money and possesions have been taken...do not go back...proceed to           the nearest police station or call the police if do not have any means of getting             there

  
  

  * help you find housing

  * provide safe haven and medical care

  * arrange rides for you to go to work

  * protect your children

  * they have lawyers on staff which will consult with you gratis (free of charge)

  
  

  PRACTICAL ADVICE:

  
  

   1. GET HELP and LISTEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS.....SOME HAVE GOTTEN HURT NOT FOLLOWING THESE GUIDELINES!!!

  
  

  2. ABUSERS AND CHILD MOLESTERS DO NOT GET BETTER AND THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE OR SHOW NO REMORSE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.

  
  

  3. THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN AND IT WILL GET WORSE EACH TIME.

  
  

  4. THEY WILL CUT YOU OFF FROM FAMILY...FRIENDS...LOVED ONES.
  

  
  

  5. THEY WILL CALL YOU ALL HOURS................ EVEN AT WORK TO WEAR YOU DOWN, THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU LOSE YOUR JOB!!!!

  
  

  6. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY..........HOLD YOUR POSSESSIONS ......HURT YOUR     CHILDREN SO THEY CAN CONTROL YOU!!!!!!!!

  
  

  7. THIS IS NOT LOVE............................................THIS IS ENSLAVEMENT!!!

  
  

  8. YOU WILL HAVE PTDS (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) AND BWS (Battered Wife Syndrome) FOR YEARS.................. GET COUNSELING!!!! 

  
  

  
  

  If you read this and recognize any of the above statements as your situation, a relatives, or a friend...then do not hesitate to take action.  Every big city has these programs available.
