About Kermeshea Evans Kermeshea Elaine Evans is a wife and mother of three boys. She is a native Houstonian and currently resides in Spring, TX. Going To Church To Catch Hell is the personal story of Kermeshea Evans. The book explores the dynamic of family relationships, emotional healing and forgiveness. Growing up the daughter of a prominent pastor was not all it appeared to be for Kermeshea Evans, fancy cars, private jets, a life filled with luxuries, all at an extreme emotional price. Kermeshea Hilliard Evans grew up in the Houston area the daughter of a prominent non denominational Pastor. Having spent her teens and early twenties organizing and building a multi-million dollar, mega church ministry along side her parents, she decided to walk away. Her decision ripped through the fabric of her entire family. The result, a disowned daughter, damaged relationships, and deception from the pulpit. But why? Going to Church to Catch Hell is Kermeshea’s personal story of turmoils, trials, tears and ultimately triumph as a part of the Pastor’s family.
