The Cross of Christ  

"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication" (Rev. 17: 1-2). Let us look a little closer at this verse. I don't normally get involved in any internet discussions involving Eschatological events or references. I find the subject fascinating and I have my own beliefs. The subject is very complex and to give the subject justice, there are many verses, chapters, even entire books of the Bible that need to be looked at in depth. I make this one exception due to references made by the Holy Spirit to the "great whore" in Rev. 17:1 and "fornication" in Rev. 17:2.
