The N-Word (Ni_ _ER), a once so offensive word, used with the intent to attack and degrade African Americans, in the most humiliating manner; the word is now used prevalently among their, descendants (the Hip Hop Community), as term of endearment. The purpose of this study is to shed light on a generational gap that lies between the origin of the word, the victims and its current use among today's youth.

The N Word By definition,  Extremely Disparaging and Offensive, a black person; a member of any dark-skinned people; a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc.

The N-word and its prevalence in our Community is so frequently used it's somewhat like a loose cannon. The true meaning of the word has been so watered down it has some what lost its offensive connotation or has it? Ask just about any elderly person from 70's, 60's era or prior you will get a different response.
