Building Independent Music Communities

From the BIG 6, to the BIG 5 and now down to the Big 4 Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI — each of which consists of many smaller companies and labels serving different regions in various markets. These 4 major corporate labels has dominated recorded music over the years since the early 2000's and Since the early 2000, sales of recorded music has dropped substantially, largely, due to the growth of the internet. The paradigm to the Music Industry has undoubtedly shifted, Independent record labels are now popping up more and more all over. With this becoming, common knowledge wouldn't it only be wise to create Independent Music Communities to give Independent record labels the necessary support system and resources needed, so they can have a stronger voice with a better infrastructure to build from.
