Anna Tess and Tim Crawford suffered from hearing loss from an early age. On HTOA, Anna will discuss the challenges she faced being born profoundly deaf and the opportunities she’s had as a result of Cochlear hearing technology. She will describe her education and work in deaf education and what advice she has for others considering possible hearing loss solutions. She will also describe her experience training for triathlons and how Cochlear’s True Wireless and water accessories have improved her competition experience.  Tim will discuss his experience struggling with hearing loss, how his quality of life has changed and been positively impacted since receiving his cochlear implant, and what advice he has for fellow athletes with hearing loss considering possible hearing loss solutions. He will also describe his experiences training for endurance sports, like an Ironman, and how Cochlear hearing technology has helped optimize his training. Cochlear is the global leader in implantable hearing solutions. More than 450,000 people of all ages, across more than 100 countries, now hear because of Cochlear.
