Re-Awakening Minds - Nailah Gilliam w/Teleka B. Durga, Spiritual Healing Consult

Teleka Turiya Sage grew up on the Island of Jamaica. She was raised by  her grandmother, Blanche, her aunt and by many uncles. When she  was younger, she swore her uncles were real life superheroes.  Her grandmother, who served as both role model and mother figure, had always been a natural at making remedies for a wide range of conditions and would often be called on for help by our family and the larger community. Following in her grandmother's footsteps, Teleka continued the traditional path of healing and wellness. She studied Yoga at Sananda Yoga School, she then attended the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she learned the practice of traditional Chinese Medical Massage. She also gained her Reiki Mastery Practitioner/Teacher accreditation and joined the American Board of Hypnotherapy, where she is a certified and registered Hypnotherapist. In addition, Teleka is trained in other areas based in mysticism through lineage and ancient memories. She is also in contact with one of her guides and has plans on strengthening this connection in order to expand her offerings.

Teleka's goal is to help her clients feel relaxed, listened to and pampered. She helps clients bridge the gap between wellness and their belief system. She says, "For most of us, our beliefs systems are first developed during our childhoods and are shaped by the experiences and influences we had around us." She loves to teach and her purpose at Mandala Nation is to inspire new thought through mindful interactions.
