WHOAAAA this is Massive Attack Sunday... we have not one , not two but three amazing editors : John Burroughs of Crisis Chronicles Library If you want to read a contemporary poet hes got it.. if you want to read Whitman to Nietzsche hes got it! He is the founder of Lix and Kix Open Mic in Ohio that brings in featured poets from all over the midwest.Lara Konesky is joining us as a featured poet of Crisis with her witty and wanton hyperbole of the urban landscape. We have the poet/ editor and founder of Virgogray Press Michael Caesares : now this man he does special feature chapbooks such as " American Remembered" and the "National Poetry Month Amthology" ; Carcinogenic Poetry: a massive collection of writers ezine that publishes weekly, and featured poet collections such as Justin Blackburn whose latest book " Farting Fire " has topped 300 sales and are going into another printing. New books by Michael McAloran and Felino Soriano are also due out this fall by VGP : Michael Caesares is one busy man.. and gracious to all his poets. He takes the time to be personal to care about his poets.. and he gathers them around him to quality publication. Check out his books and chapbooks while you are at it.. my favorite of his so far is The Terorist but he has several available. Steven Purkey the editor and founder of Modus Operandi the brash raw and harsh urban poet zine from Portland is breaking ground with a quarterly journal that brings you to your knees with a tug of the hair and forces your eyes wide shut to see the world through new lenses. He is taking a journey where few editors fear to tread along the narrow winding path of the damned and the desolate and he isnt looking back till the entire west coast is subscribed and beyond. The third Sunday is the block buster of all Sundays.. featuring the latest publications and where you as poets if you havent heard of will be submitting before the show is over. or buying a basket of books put out by these talented men.
