In honor of the proud nation of Haiti, Christian and Lori welcome Lilith Dorsey author of the book "Voodoo and Afro-Caribbean Paganism" and the DVD "Bodies of Water-Voodoo Identity and Transformation". Lilith Dorsey has spent years studying the different Afro-Caribbean Pagan traditions of North, Central and South America: traditions that are constantly misrepresented across the board of popular culture. Explaining how the origins and practices of these West African-derived belief systems are rooted in strong traditions of feminine power and universal energy, Dorsey will demystify the Voodoo religions for our listeners. Learn about the rituals and history of West African-derived beliefs, their common ground and their differences.
