July 24, 2013 is Monsanto Video Revolt Day! People around the world have awakened to the GMO poisoning of our food supply. The March Against Monsanto May 25, 2013 brought out over 2 million people in over 400 cities worldwide against GMOs.
Tonight we focus on agriculture, farming the way it used to be, the way it should be.
Casey Burns, Food Justice Program Director at the Regional Environmental Council, Inc. of Central Massachusetts will join us. The Food Justice Program focuses its efforts on four project areas citywide: a community gardens network (UGROW), youth development through urban agriculture (YouthGROW), farmers markets, and a new healthy cooking education project (Share Our Strength's Cooking Matters).
Julie Ignacio from Little House Homestead Home Made Soap will be in the house as well to introduce us to her line of Home Made Goat's Milk Soaps.
