Apple Pressing For Juice. This one's really close to my heart - I love apple juice and cider and I love the whole ethos of growing your own produce to provide for the family. I'm also incredibly priviledged to be part of a fantastic village community right in the heart of some of the UK's best apple growing country. And if you live in the UK you'll know what a massive surge of momentum's behind the whole 'organic, shop local, farmers markets, low food miles' kind of approach to the way we buy and consume our food these days. And I absolutely revel in all that! Here in the UK we're about to celebrate national Apple Day and this show is dedicated to that. Listen in while I wax lyrical about the Egremont Russet, Cornish Gillyflower, Blenheim Orange, Kingston Black and ....ooh, the list just goes on and on!
