ASA~ Family, please tune in as we close out our Ramadan series with Sister Nisa Islam's daughter, Sister Majidah Muhammad. Majidah is currently a preschool educator at KIPP DC: Grow Academy in Washington, D.C. After graduating from Spelman College with a B.A. in Child Development, she joined Teach for America. In 2011, Majidah graduated from George Mason University with a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. Her love for children and educational experiences has kept her in the classroom for five years. Majidah envisions being a stay-at-home mom in order to educate her own children. Her guests include: Sister Anisha (16), who has been fasting since she was 14, Sister Sydnie, who is from London and converted to Islam when she was 14, Sister Sudan Muhammad who works trielessly in the community serving Our People, during Ramadan her service to the homeless increases as others donate as a way of Charity when they're unable to Fast.Sis Aisha- from Vanguard POC in Atlanta. She participated in a Ramadan Quranic Challenge answering questions about each part we read in the Quran.
