    Technical glitches

    As you may have noticed, I've finally put in my segment information for this Friday's show.  I've been sort of obsessed with editing the last show and, while my editing of the third segment was a success, I have yet to upload it successfully to rebroadcast.  Somewhere between saving the file and then searching for it to upload, some data has disappeared.  I'm afraid listeners will have to wait a few more days until I re-edit the segment...unless the gremlins decide to return the missing data within the mp3 data folder.  lol

    I have only scheduled a 30-minute show this time around but I can always extend the time in the weeks ahead should I start to have weekly callers.  So please, call in if you can.  After all, it will be callers like you that make this show a successful informational and motivating show for everyone.  And we all need as much positive input and support in our lives these days as possible.  :)  Don't you agree?

    Editing Success!

    I'm delighted to say that I believe I have successfully edited my last show, Dec. 19th covering The Interview, and all of my disruptive coughs have been silenced.  lol  It is a time-consuming endeavor but, nonetheless, quite satisfying and actually kind of fun!  I love learning new things and last week, I just couldn't figure it out.  Today, I sat down and everything just clicked into place.  Don't you love it when that happens?

    I will be rebroadcasting this show in order for it to be saved to BTR's archives so if you want to listen to it again but were dreading it, please know it will be a much more pleasant experience this time around.  lol Live and learn, right?

    I'll let you know if it actually works so that you'll know you'll have cough-free listening to some valuable information about the interviewing process.  I'll probably broadcast the edited version tonight or tomorrow sometime.  I'd like to get it done before Friday for you.

    In the meantime, I hope those of you who are tuning in are formulating some great questions or are ready to share some fun or frustrating moments of your job-searching process when you call in on Friday.  Check back in the next day or two to find out my topic of discussion for this Friday, January 2nd, 2009.

    Tis the season!

    I just discovered I can also have a blog here at BTR so I just had to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

    There will be no show tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 26th.  I will be fixing my last show and deleting all my ~coughs~.  My apologies to my listeners and for those who host...hitting the mute button on your keyboard does NOT work.  lol  Oops!  I'll try the mute button on my switchboard next time if I need to.

    For now, I want everyone to enjoy spending time with their families and friends.  Clear your head by playing games, taking walks, gardening, making snow angels or snowpeople and daydreaming.  Have fun!  You deserve it!
