Meet Jaketra Bryant

Jaketra Bryant is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and she moved to Atlanta ,Georgia for broader opportunities with her career and education. Upon relocating, she pursued and received her Master’s in Community Counseling from Argosy University. Her main goal became to leave a legacy for both her family and community. A vivid picture remains in Jaketra’s head today of her then one week old baby boy by her side and Psychology papers on the other standing as her motivation. Jaketra is a single mother of a 6 year old son and lives every day striving to promote a well-balanced life for her and her son. She is a woman who wears multiple hats and attempts daily to model that to her son. In an effort to develop healthy parenting it is essential to grow as an individual. It is her belief the key to a “successful” rearing of one’s child is recognizing trial and error is okay, the importance of community involvement and working through one’s own personal affairs.
