Overcoming Persecution"

If you live in such a manner as to stand the test of the last judgment, you can depend upon it that the world will not speak well of you.
When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.
Everyone pretends to be 'free thinkers', but few individuals pass the line into expressive territories that may be detrimental to their own social well-being.
When emerging from humble beginnings, those around you tend to underestimate your authenticity because they knew you before you were 'somebody'.
It comes to this then: there always have been people like me and always will be, and generally they have been persecuted.
The challenge of abating one with a genuine ego problem is to not try to put us down. Any and all antagonization, in our mind, is merely compensated for by his own descriptions: his feelings of persecution by the envious and his ideals of worth. Arguably, the genuine ego is more of a circumstantial defense mechanism rather than a steady arrogance in need of starvation.
Great minds with great ideas usually share in the midst of their persecution.
