Our host, Sharen Beth, interviews Clinton Huff who was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. He started training in dance at age 11 focusing on Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. He loved old school popping but as there were no classes available at the time he taught himself the fundamentals of popping and waving. Clinton spent 2 summers abroad training in France with some amazing teachers including the boys technique teacher from the world famous, Paris Opera. He grew up dancing though high school and worked on many musicals thoughout Southern California some include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat, West Side Story and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. After Graduating from high school, a few weeks after his 17th birthday, knowing what he wanted to do with his life he jumped into the business straight away. Signing with his first dance agent, he quickly started working. His first job was for Nike in beautiful Hawaii! Clinton has worked in film, television, stage and commercials. Commercial credits include Coke, Progressive Insurance, Nokia, Budweiser, Visa, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Bugaboo and Target. Film and television credits include Glee, Disaster Movie, The Comebacks, Jackass #2, Eli Stone, Malcolm in the Middle! Clinton has worked with such notable choreographers as Hi Hat (Missy Elliot Choreographer), Fred Tallaksen (Madonna Choreographer), Michael Rooney (Kylie Minogue Choreographer) and Zach Woodley (Glee Choreographer). He has also worked alongside Kim Kardashian, Franky Munez, David Koechner and Neil Patrick Harris. Most recently you may have seen him in a national Cheetos commercial as well as a Jack In The Box and a Nissan commercial that are currently running! Because he has such a strong appreciation for his craft, Clinton believes that sharing his knowledge of dance, with the up and coming dancers of the next generation, is one of the most important things in life. The arts must be embraced and perpetuated.
