Fleeing Refugee Tells His Story

At least 22 million children are currently displaced by armed conflict and human rights issues. Guest Megan O'Connor is  joined with a refugee her organization help when he landed in the USA three years ago from Bhutan. The Welcome to America Project (WTAP) is a non-profit organization that creates community connections and provides furniture, basic necessities, education and resources to newly arriving refugees through the help of volunteers and donation. They have helped over 1000 families since 2001 through the help of volunteers and donations.
