Corrosion is a major issue for oil and gas operating companies in the North Sea. Dr Torben Lund Skovhus, Team Leader at the Danish Technological Institute (DTI), outlines the challenges facing the industry at the moment and discusses the areas of asset integrity management that the DTI is working on. The interview gives special focus to the DTI's DNA-based detection system and why it is considered more efficient than alternatives. Torben will be presenting at the Asset Integrity Management Summit, which is taking place from 23 - 25 November in Aberdeen.
