Thomas Wade was born into a musical family in Burford Ontario. It was Johnny Cash and Elvis that made him want to step into the spotlight for the first time at age seven,and Chet Atkins who inspired him to pick up the guitar, but by the time he wore out his first copy of the Beatles, Abbey Road, his course was set as a songwriter, musician andrecord producer.
When Thomas Wade performed his at his last sold out performance, he had seven CCMA awards, three albums which he wrote and produced, twelve top 20 singles andnumerous videos including the #1 video, Lyin' Here With You. He had been touring as the main draw for seven years as the creative center and voice for Thomas Wade and Wayward, as well as being a solo performer. In November 2002 he took his bows, took a hard left turn due to an undiagnosed health problem that had taken his singing voice. Soon after, he lost his ability to speak. Finally in 2006, he was diagnosed with Oromandibular Dystonia which was thought to be an incurable neurological disorder.
Through many years of self determination, research and an unconventional approach to wellness, Thomas Wade has found his way back and is busier than ever writing, singing, producing and helping others find their way to healing as a Certified Hypnotist.
