The Little Rascals is a group of former foster youth brought together on Facebook by Group Moderator Nikki Thompson, herself a former foster youth.
Nikki states the description and intent for the group as:
“A place for us fosters to vent, relax and enjoy the company of others who understand what it's like to be us. We are family here and have created a bond that will hopefully last a lifetime” Group member TyRae adds “and likes ice-cream!”
A diverse group which spans across approximately 4 decades in age and three time zones of the United States, shares a deep sense of understanding, support, wisdom, humor, and mischief, as it talks about commonly shared issues and emotions triggered by experiences as foster youth, which surface in one another’s lives of “independence”.
Listen as the hearts of the “inner child” inside of each of the “Little Rascals” are embraced and given voice in heartfelt, healing, and humorous conversation in their struggles to be free!
