Having a family member with Alzheimer Disease can be overwhelming and heart breaking.  Often, the only option is placement in a nursing home and specifically a locked memory unit.  My guest, Erica Labb, is the Director of Memory Unit.  Besides overseeing resident care, she works with the families to understand the many personality and cognitive changes.  Erica will discuss her techniques and creative ways to provide the best quality of life for residents.  She will also provide insight into how she supports families.  If you have a family member with Alzheimer or know someone, I wouldn't miss the show.  It will be informative and instructional in how to navigate the world of Alzheimer and memory units.
