I sit down with Hope McIntyre, artistic director of Sarasvati Productions, and Sylvia Kuzyk, former broadcaster, to discuss FemFest 2012 happening in Winnipeg, Manitoba September 15-22, 2012. Hope discusses gender inequality in the arts and how FemFest hopes to change it. Sylvia reveals what it's like rekindling her first passion -- theatre -- and how she's prepared for her role in the local production 'Empty' which centers around poverty and food bank use.
