www.bethterrence.com Beth's mission is to support others in living a heart-centered and joyful life through discovering the healer within.  It was through her own personal journey of transformation and healing that Beth emerged as a Shaman, Facilitator & Holistic Practitioner.  Beth has explored archetypes as a catalyst for personal growth and exploration in her life and her work.  She has found the Wounded Healer archetype to be one that she has resonated with throughout much of her life.

It is believed that the Wounded Healer has the capacity to travel into the darkness to find the energy of light and understanding that brings forth the true healer.  This archetype reveals that it is only by being willing to face our wounds and consciously going through them that we are able to find the blessings that lie therein.  Going through our wounds is actually a process of death and rebirth, as our old self “dies”, a new one emerges; and just as the phoenix rises from the ashes, we emerge into a new way of being, one of connection and wholeness.

Beth will share her experiences in walking the path of the Wounded Healer and how her willingness to journey into her most painful places became the catalyst for a new life, one she never imagined was possible due to her childhood experiences growing up with a mentally ill parent.  It is said that as the Wounded Healer heals, there is an opportunity to become a healer, teacher and guide.  Beth will share how this journey unfolded for her to step forth as a shaman, becoming a guide for others to embrace their dark places to find the healer within.
