On today's show I have the pleasure of speaking with Randy Hinton, a parent of a child who died from DIPG - a children's brain tumor. Randy has an amazing personal story to share and exciting information about the treatment of brain tumors to discuss.

What is a DIPG you ask? DIPG is a diffuse pontine glioma or brainstem glioma is a high-grade, or malignant, tumor. This type of tumor arises in the glial (supportive) tissue of the lowest, stem-like part of the brain, which controls many vital functions. Diffuse pontine gliomas account for 10-15 percent of all childhood central nervous system tumors. The median age at diagnosis is 5 to 9 years old, and these tumors occur with equal frequency in boys and girls. For more information about DIPG visit: http://www.childrenshospital.org/az/Site762/mainpageS762P0.html

Randy and I are also going to discuss the very innovative and effective - proven work of Dr. Stanislaw R. Burzynski, MD, PhD, an internationally recognized physician and scientist who has devoted his whole life to cancer research, has been treating thousands of cancer patients from all parts of the world for over 30 years.

Dr. Burzynski is one of the pioneers in alternative cancer research, known worldwide for discovering Antineoplastons. Antineoplaston Therapy targets cancer cells without destroying normal cells.

If you, or someone you know has a child living with DIPG or any other type of brain tumor this is show you will not want to miss.
