Greg Allen a Charlottesville, VA based singer-songwriter, writer, philosopher, and Audience Inclusion advocate is going to appear on my Blog Talk Internet Radio Show this Wednesday night at 11 PM EST (Wednesday March 25, 2009). He’s a seasoned performer & founder of SongSharing who is Making Music More Accessible(tm) with his traveling pal Alice the Canine Messiah. They bring the unique aspect of Audience Inclusion to their touring efforts by scheduling Community Venue shows (facilities for seniors, the developmentally disabled, children's hospitals, etc) in each town they visit. Alice is a wise & witty red min-pin that co-writes, travels and appears with Greg.
Greg’s 2006 CD, Tales of the Uneasy Writer, and his 2008 release, It’s Time That Time Was Overthrown, feature many of central Virginia’s finest musicians that support the SongSharing effort. Story of Our Lies, from the Time Overthrown CD, is featured in Paladin Picture’s film Rebellion of Thought.
Their first book, The Now Exspirientuality: a Philosophy of Unity, will be released in the Spring of 2009.
