Show Notes

To Be "We The People" ; The People Must be involved. Some lessons are never learned: "The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero - 55 BC

Options! Do we have any & what are they?

    BOOK REVIEW by OnTheIssues.org:
    Ron Paul's Book

"The theme of this book is that big government is reducing our personalfreedom, slowing our economy, and ultimately will destroy the country.

Rep. Paul has generatedsuch a large army of "Paulistas" in his presidential campaign. Rep.Paul's libertarian philosophy is well-documented, although hewould prefer the term "constitutionalist", meaning one who strictlyfollows the Constitution.

The book consists of four chapters:

    1. Individual Rights: This topic spans topics frommorality to gun control, Paul's thesisis: follow the Constitution, or follow the Amendment process if youdon't like what's in the Constitution.
    2. Foreign Policy: We excerpt it heavily to contrast to Rep. Paul's current statements onIraq (anyone who knows Rep. Paul's level of consistency on this topicwill know that by "compare" we mean "substantiate that he has indeedheld the same views for 20 years now.")
    3. The Military Draft: This topic seems veryoutdated now. Rep. Paulmakes only passing reference to the concept of "National Service,"which would be the modern equivalent of this topic.
    4. Sound Money is Gold: This topic is covered in more detail in Rep. Paul's 1981 book, Gold, Peace, and Prosperity . We include a couple of excerpts and refer more interested readers to that source. Jesse Gordon, jesse@OnTheIssues.org, Dec. 2007"

Thank you for being on the issues you guys are great!

Above is quoted from On The Issues.

Which brings me to my point. Do we have any options?

I hear " McCain the lesser of two evils" "I just won't go vote" "No one to vote for" etc. Stop your moaning!

Yes I am mad too, and feel cheated, I have never had any one to vote for! (too young for Regan )

The lesser of 2 evils is still evil. I have options and so does the rest of the American public. People (If you are illegally here in the U.S. this is not a conversation for you please leave) we do have options.

Great Americans all over this country are making political coverage like which America has never had before. If you are ignorant and think that McCain and Obama are all we got, it is your fault. See, there is this thing called the Internet, and you can get tons of information. This information comes from all over the world, but mostly from "the west".

Wiciapedia is popular and a good place for overview.

StoptheACLU.org fights for our country by watching the lefts pet and keeps people informed of the movements (Nedd You are so fab! And SO much what we need).

ontheissues.org saves millions of minutes of research for clear answers to who is who, who isn't and who is and not on what side of the issues.

freerepublic is fabulous and has one of the best listing of great reads about freedom on its site.

Act for America (God Bless You Brigitte Thank you) Is upfront and dead on on what and how the Muslims are taking political control, but here is the best part, Brigitte is not from America, but lives her daily life helping to protect us.

Real clear Politics gives great polls and answers to questions.

worldnetdaily.com is an informative news source. Not a scam like the AP or the New York Times.

    okay**** I quite

Even just off the top of my head I can name many more super places to go, but take look at my link list please, adding frequently.

Talk radio is excellent and if you are not a fan check it out.
If you believe you don't have any options than, I would have to believe that you are ignorant of the information power available via the net (THANKS Al Gore).

So let us name you some candidates who can America choose from?

Alan Keyes. I am very partial to this man. I appreciate the honesty. I cannot endorse Keyes as much as I am favorable to him a supporter of the UN is Unacceptable.

It is God and Country for a reason

    Official Web Site: www.alankeyes.com/
    E-mail: contact@alankeyes.com
    Phone: 800-727-6142
I can stand proudly behind Alan even though I know some who say he is unelectable.
But you can tell he is Godly

    Ron Paul

    Official Web Site: www.ronpaul2008.com/

Even though, I can not back him on every single issue I can for the majority & he speaks from the original intent which is the correct path for America.

    Phone: 703-248-9115

    Chuck Baldwin
    • "No North American Union; no NAFTA Superhighway. (May 2008)
    • Out of the UN, NAFTA, and NATO. (May 2008)" Chuck Baldwin.
      • After listening to this man, someone who Ron Paul mentions, I like him he is moral
      •  WAY TO GO Chuck.
    • As I have publicly stated in October Chuck is the ONLY viable option I see he truly places the country first and is a statesman.

"An unprecedented number of Americans have concluded that the two majorparties have morphed into one entity which exists to advance what is essentailly the same" I'd agree to that, but I wonder about the webmaster Essentially it is ia not reverse).

Mike Gravel "Let the people decide"

Wow this Cynthia Is as extreme as Obama makes ya wonder how come the Dem's didn't rally around her?

    Cynthia McKinney

    a href= "http://www.runcynthiarun.org/
I can say she makes me afraid.

    Official Web Site:

    E-mail: info@NaderExplore04.com

"Supports NOW's agenda on Reproductive Rights. (Feb 2008)
    • Supports stem cell research. (Feb 2008)
    • Threats to overturn Roe are “scare tactics”. (Nov 2000)
    • Women should decide whether to use RU-486, not government. (Oct 2000)
    • No government role; let women privately decide. (May 2000)"
    Not A Nader girl.

Bob Baur Running on the Libertarian Party

We have plenty of options, if only we can stop spending so much time shopping, playing golf, drinking, watching sports, vegging on video games and going to the movies.

Americans can have enough time to look at her options and make some sound decisions. I don't know why any one would care about what is going on in America. Do you? How is it possible voting for American Idol is more relevant then who is in charge of our Home?

Open up a dialog and discuss the issues find out what are the options you have and lets make a decision together and vote together and show the congress that this is the land of the people. Personally the two I can back and vote for today is either Alan Keyes or Ron Paul, I like Chuck, but Must gather more info before endorsing him.

    LNSu

    P.S.

Al Gore comment is total sarcasm to bad he believes it.

Super Gratitude of thanks to ontheissues, org. for the listing of candidates who are not being covered by any major media.

    The Church Salt & Light

    Detergent Church

    (di-tur-juhnt church)

    - noun

-----------A church whose sole purpose is to purge the skid marks sin has left on man’s ------------------soul and our society.

Biblical Christianity (operative word: biblical), lived and worked out in real time, has always been a life-stoking blessing in whatever land it took root (no matter what your long tooth lesbian Marxist professor says).

Historically speaking, when the church was healthy and righteous the nation it was in eventually prospered in muchos ways. However, when the “saints” started getting scripturally cross eyed, converted to the whims of culture and became lax in regard to God’s moral maxims, then what used to be a source of salt and light morphed into a font of slop and tripe and officially became a part of God’s—and that nation’s—problem. In my quasi-humble opinion that’s where I think a massive slice of the American church stands (or sits), namely in the way versus leading the way.

In last week’s column I tossed out my demented two cents/10 points into the thought fray as to what I think would help the church cease to stink and thus cause our nation to maybe, just maybe, continue to be the great experiment it is. Here’s a recap . . .

    1. Get men who dig being rowdy back in the pulpit.

    2. Could we have some sound doctrine, por favor?

    3. Preach scary sermons (at least every fourth one).

    4. Get rid of 99.9% of “Christian” TV.

    6. Put a 10-year moratorium on “God wants you rich” sermons (yeah, that’s what we need to hear nowadays, you morons, more sermons about money, money, money!).

    7. Embrace apologetics and shun shallow faith.

    9. Push lazy Christians to get a life or join a Satanic Church.

    10. Demand that if a Christian gets involved in the arts that their “craft” must scream excellence and not excrement.

truth divides. Truth will cost a pastor people, possibly his Porsche and . . . and . . . it might leave him . . . (I’m gonna say it) . . . unpopular. Many ministers fear unpopularity more than God.

"Yep, for the sake of praise, pacification, and cash a lot of pastors/churches will prostitute their calling and blow off declaring God’s whole counsel because on the whole it’s costly."

This Has  come to pass in Revelations who do you think the  The harlot is? The rest of the article is at Town Hall  a featured link on this page.

    http://townhall.com/columnists/DougGiles/2008/05/31/the_detergent_church__salt_and_light_or_slop_and_tripe?page=full&comments=true

The guy is correct we got too many feel good churches, people suffer for real love just look how much God has suffered to love us & we STILL turn our backs on him.
