The HC Live & Direct Presents Dr. E Faye Williams, Esq, Chair of the National Congress of Black Women. The NCBW is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational, political, economic and cultural development of African American Women and their families.
 
Throughout this month in mainstream media, women from many organizations and cultural backgrounds have spoken on various shows presenting points about women and their contribution in history... However, the voices of Black Women who also head many organizations and/or businesses have not been heard as they should be.  According to Dr Williams "It doesn’t matter if the shows are hosted by Black or white men or women --the result is the same.  Many of us keep waving our hands and saying, “Hey look at us.  We Black women who lead Black women’s organizations have opinions, too!” 
 
On this show we are going to answer that call and make that connection with a Black Woman and leader who, yes, has an opinion and a voice that we need to hear. Join us as we continue to share in the contributions of our Black and African Women of History, and those of the National Congress of Black Women.
