After spending a huge amount of hours looking through literally thousands of websites I was told by a friend that I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. She told me that sometimes the thing you look for is closest to you even though you don’t realize it. So, ok, after all of her cryptic allegories I finally had to ask what she was talking about.
She told me to go to my CemeterySpot websites and see if I could find some sample info that she asked me to look for. I quickly make a few clicks and said sure, here it is. What she was trying to tell me by leading me to find this out for myself was that the CemeterySpot websites aren’t just worthwhile free services they are also great resources for information. They also comprise some of the best web directory info for end of life and/or grief related topics available anywhere on the internet. WOW, if only I had realized this I would have been telling people about this, months ago. But, I suppose it’s better late than never.
So, if you need some good links for research, school, personal interest, etc. please check out http://www.cemeteryspot.com/resources.php This web page has many categories and lots of good links. Also, go to http://www.cemeteryspot.org/providers.php and put in any zip/postal code in the US or Canada. It will display cemeteries, mortuaries, monument makers, consultants, hospices and funeral homes within 90 miles (or kilometers) of the zip/postal code you entered. It has tens of thousands of total entries to help you. And, if you know of a business that isn’t there and wants to be added just let me know and I’ll get it/them added. _________________ Hal Stevens www.CemeterySpot.com www.CemeterySpot.com/blog www.CemeterySpot.org www.GreenFuneralsBook.com www.Write-A-Eulogy.com www.CremationLinks.com www.FuneralPlanningBook.com www.CemeteryPropertyBook.com www.OrganDonorBook.com
