Republican Address, Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) discusses Senate Democrats’ inaction on more than 40 jobs bills passed by the House. In town hall meetings, in my office, at restaurants and grocery stores – everywhere I go – Georgians, like all Americans, are asking, ‘Where are the jobs?’ They’re frustrated with the status quo, and I am too,” Rep. Collins said. “While our out-of-touch president is bragging about the economy, Senate Democrats are refusing to act on dozens of House-passed jobs bills that would help struggling families and small businesses. Hundreds of good bills passed by the House are stuck in the Senate, and that must change. Whether the president and his party decides to get to work or not, Republicans are going to continue to champion the American people’s priorities.”
