Don't Give Up

I just finished traveling from Atlanta, Georgia to Long Beach, California and there was something that was confirmed once again for me and that is don’t give up. I was driving for so long in Arizona, I became very frustrated and I thought I was never going to pass through the state. I was about to stop and pull it in for the day but something in me said keep going. I climbed back into the seventeen foot truck and continued making a push to my destination. Who would know just over the horizon, I was at the state line to California. After leaving Georgia and traveling through Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, I realized these states is how I had to travel to get where I needed to be. Had I stayed in Arizona, it would have delayed my arrival to California and I see I got here exactly at the right time. I got here at the time I needed to. It made me realize too many times people give up before the blessing. They’re one step away, one mile away and they give up. They give up because it gets a little tough. They give up because it’s easier to give up. They give up because they want it now and can’t wait or they give up because they didn’t want it bad enough. They give up because someone told them to give up leaving them with their assessment as to why they should stop. I say; if there’s a place in your life you’re trying to get to, don’t give up.
