As LOA coaches we spend a lot of time "redirecting" our clients away from their old stories.  Whatever it is, if it's a story they don't like, or if it's hurting them, we ask them to look at it a different way, or not at all.  We've been trained to do it, we train our clients to do it.

However, it might not be the best thing to do.  In fact, in many cases it won't work, and trying to redirect might be harmful.

Today we are going to talk about a radical new approach the VA is using called saturation therapy.  Although coaches don't do therapy, there may be some clues in that idea that can help us work with some clients more effectively.
