    Champions of Justice Heroes Interview

Champions of Justice is a great show on KRLA 870 and KABC 790 AM in Los Angeles.

Walter Lack has secured Billions for Plaintiffs that were injured by corporations, Brian Panish has helped many quadrapalegics and brain damaged people that were injured in substandard vehicles.  In their show on June 27, host Tom Girardi had Tab Turner on the show, a former football player and Arkansas based lawyer that brought the Ford Explorer rollover cases to trial.  He was responsible for Firestone execs coming to the US from Japan and apologizing to a maimed mother for selling tires that were so defective that millions were recalled.  Brain Panish is a former football player, a free safety, at Fresno state, and Walter Lack was a basketball player in college as well.

What they have in common is the passion to represent injured people against the biggest car makers and other companies in court to get them compensation.  Lobbyists flood the departments of transportation and safety and have robbed Americans of any recourse to injuries from vehicles that were sold despite the companies knowing they were faulty, to save $30 per car, hoping the injury rewards would be less than the fix.

The Ford Bronco was changed to the Ford Explorer to distance the rollover cases with the Bronco that resulted in death and injury, only to have the Explorer injure even more people.

We all saw Erin Brokovich the movie where Julia Roberts portrayed the sleuth that uncovered massive cancer and deaths from deliberate practices of PG&E that are resulting in Billions of dollars in payouts to the injured people.

Now Michael Douglas is portraying Tab Turner in his fight against Ford that goes on today in an upcoming movie and includes mystery phone calls and memos slid under doors that concerned people made available because it was the right thing to do.

These trial lawyers are putting all their funds into waging these battles and do not have the resources to hire public relations to portray them in a positive light.  The big companies spend billions to make you believe they are the good guys and the lawyers are the bad guys.

Now the Obama administration has given hundreds of millions to Chrysler to bail them out and have made anyone injured in their vehicles unable to recover any damages from Chrysler as a result of the legislation to bail them out.  GM is next up and if you are injured by a defective GM product you will be out of luck with this administration.

So millions go to the execs and companies and nothing goes to the average person that might be killed or injured and his family made destitute.

Social media educates you to these injustices and don’t let the big companies make products that are defective so they make higher profits and you get a wheelchair.  Hollywood makes movies about it, companies go bankrupt for bad decisions but we don’t have to suffer because we have lawyers like these folks that are fighting for you.

You will change your attitude about lawyers when your wife, husband or child is on a ventilator because the tire blew or the roof of your car collapsed.

Do something now and tell your elected official that you want representation that fights the lobbyists and protects the average person’s rights.

It’s too late for those that are bedridden or dead with no recourse, but it’s not too late for you to make your concerns known via the new media.  As we have learned with the TEA party movement, our elected officials are listening and they can’t tune us out!

How many lobbyists played college football and have movies made about them?  Please give us a shout out if you are out there but I believe our heroes are these litigators that came from our fields and courts and dedicated themselves to helping others.  I expect silence from these people that have sold out your safety and well being for their paycheck.
