Bible Study of Matthew 6:5-15. Key Verse: Matthew 6:6

Jesus taught that it is more important to develop our inner relationship with God through prayer.

Objectives: 1. That we will learn that valuing the inner and outer actions of who we are is reflective of our understanding of God. 2. That we will be able to summerize Jesus' teaching about prayer. 3. To show how God's teachings on prayer were different from how some understand prayer, 4. To understand that prayer is a way to seek God for all of our needs. 5. That we would decide to model our prayer after the Lord's prayer.
