Jesus is the Messiah Series

Bible Study: Mark 8:27-9:1; Key Verse: Mark 8:29 Jesus' states who He is and what His expectations are for His followers and for the world. Objectives: 1) That we will know that Jesus is the Messiah sent from God. 2) That we will be able to discuss who Jesus is. 3) To learn that discovering the identity of Jesus is important for all believers to know. It is the truth of who Jesus is, that is the foundation that under girds all Christian faith. 4) Believers in Christ must come to know and accept that Jesus is more than a good man or a prophet. Saints must know that Jesus is the incarnate Word of God, the Son of God, and the express image of the Father. Know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God , the second Person in the Godhead of the Trinity or Triune Godhead. Jesus is eternal in His person and nature as the Son of God who was with God in the beginning of creation. (Basis John 1:1) 5) That we will share how we can personally state our faith.
