Pleasing to God Series

Bible Study of I Thessalonians 2:1-12. Key Verse: I Thessalonians 2:4. Jesus wants us to focus our attention on Him - make Him the center of our lives. Series objectives: 1. That we will examine our personal motives for commitment to God and the faith community. 2. To revisit an experience that motivated our commitment to God. 3. To identify actions mentioned by Paul, and categorize them as either pleasing or displeasing to God. 4. To realize that our commitment to God should be motivated by our desire to please Him. 5. That we will cease activities that are not pleasing to God.
