The Power of Music

Music has power, the sound-sphere of music is experienced throughout the entire world! It ripples across languages, ideologies, frontiers, people groups, and genders. Music can take the form of wind blowing through the trees in the woods, the kindling fire in a hearth, or the roar of the deep sea. “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music,” Aldous Huxley. Music has a way of communicating with the inwards parts of a person, physiologically, emotionally and intuitively. That’s why we sing “Happy Birthday.” By singing we can more adequately share the emotional energy behind the words. This broadcast is dedicated to the power of music.
