Race In America - Racism Lives

President Abram Lincoln once stated,"Slavery is founded on the selfishness of man's nature--opposition to it on his love of justice." Racism is equally based on selfishness and has been part of the fabric of American culture for centuries. The irony is that racism is the huge elephant in our nation's room that no one acknowledges nor talks about. Yet recent events, including the rise of violent militia groups, plainly show that we must have open, honest dialogue about the American race question. Let's talk today.
