Tune in as Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) discusses the Gullah/Geechee history, heritage, and culture that thrives on historic St. Helena Island, SC.  She will also discuss the history of the missionaries' arrival to this historic island and how their encounter became one that has set a historic precedent.  As the Co-Chair for the Heritage Days Celebration for the third year, Queen Quet will also discuss the myriad of ways that people will be able to link to this history and the legacy of Gullah/Geechees of the island by attending, "Sea Island Roots: A Celebration of Reconnection" November 12-14, 2015.
