Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) is the hostess of "Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio" on behalf of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coaition.  On this edition, she will be joined by TogetherGreen fellows, Attorney Chandra Taylor and Director Michael Howard of the Fuller Park Development Corporation.  All three of them will be taking part in the Chicage URBAAN Conference which connects African Americans to the outdoors and environmental issues.

Audrey Peterman of Earthwise Productions will be the first guest to open the dicussion about African Americans and the outdoors and the issues that are being faced by the Gullah/Geechees in regard to environmental education and environmental protection.   Queen Quet will present information on the coming event with "Keeping It Wild" that will take place in Lithonia, GA to discuss some of these dynamics and how Gullah/Geechees live in balance with their natural environment.  She will interview Evonne Blythers and James King. Jr. from "Keeping It Wild" on the work that they do especially in partnership with organizations like the "Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition."
