On April 1, 1999, Queen Quet formerly Marquetta L. Goodwine became the first person to speak on behalf of Gullah/Geechees at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.  Queen Quet will discuss the accomplishments made since that time and the present issues that the Gullah/Geechee Nation is faced with in order to keep the culture alive and the human rights of the people protected.  Tune in from everywhere in the world.
