  Love is in the air. Since Valentine's is on February 14th, love is our topic for this week's show. Namely, Relationship Game/Reality Shows. From The Dating Game to even, yes, The Conveyor Belt of Love and all shows in between will be discussed. And why trying to find love on these shows is show difficult? Also, the weeks's news on Smash Or Trash will be discussed. Also, we might throw in a discussion on successful relationships, like Betty White/Allen Lunder, Trista and Ryan, and yes, even Jason and Molly.   Tonight on the show, we will be talking about Family Oriented Game and Reality Shows. We will be talking about shows that involved all the members of a family, young and old. From the classic Family Feud, to Family Double Dare, There Goes The Neighborhood, and others. And as always, Smash Or Trash will be on the show too.   STATEMENT FROM GSTAF ON DAVID HAMMOND'S DEPARTURE

  Since the January 20th broadcast, everybody here is still stunned over the departure of David Hammond.
  
  

  Mr. Hammond was on sabbatical from Game Show Talk and Fun, to focus on his personal health. In fact, we had even requested for David to take time off from the show. When David was recouperated, the door was gonna be open for him to return to his post. In no way, was he ever asked to quit the show, nor was he ever forced out. David's departure was under his own doing.
  
  

  We here at Game Show Talk and Fun, wish David Hammond the best of luck with his future ventures. Anytime David wishes to call in to say hello, the line will always be open for him.
  
  

  In the meantime, Alan Mitsugi will take over as host of this show. If Mr. Mitsugi wishes to pursue these duties on a full-time basis, that will solely be up to his discretion. We are still regrouping as a staff. Should it be necessary, we will keep you informed of any further developments.

  STATEMENT FROM THE STAFF OF GAME SHOW TALK AND FUN

  We will be issuing you guys a statement later on concerning of the incident that happened on tonite's radio show (January 20th, 2010) concerning David's departure.  Mr. Hammond leaving the show was on his own accord as seen by a statement released by him below.....
  
  For the last three years, I have hosted Game Show Talk And Fun on BlogTalkRadio.  Enjoyed the heck out of it.  But to keep my show alive, its time for me to step down and to let my friend Alan keep the show alive.  I know a few people are going to read this and jump for joy that I have finally resigned for good.  I don't care.  At least in my best friend's hands, I know my show will continue, the way I envisioned it.  I want to thank, Dan Berger, Andy Geller, Gordon Pepper, and Jason Block for making Game Show Talk And Fun what it has become.
  
  Thank you guys, I will never forget the great times we had on the show
  
  I would also like to thank all the guests that called into the show during my tenure as host.
  
  And I would like to thank all the people that have listened for the last three years.  You were the reason I kept doing it.  What started out as a four week trial, turned into three great years.

  Tonite, slight change of plans. Since this is the last week for Conan, we are gonna discuss INFAMOUS FIGHTS, CLASHES and CONTROVERSIES in game show history. From 21 to The Donald Vs. Rosie To Seacrest Vs. Dunkelman, we talk about all the personality conflicts over the years that rivals Leno Vs. O'Brien. Art imitating life. So, we will keep the gloves on as we talk this Wednesday. And of course, Smash or Trash will be on the docket too. So join me, Gordon, Jason and the rest of the bunch, this Wednesday at 9:30 pm et for Game Show Talk and Fun.   Message from David Hammond

  Greetings.  As most of the listeners of the show are now aware, I have taken a leave of absence from hosting my show, and Alan Mitsugi will host the show in my stead. 
  
  I won't tell you all the details as of why I have taken this leave of absence, (some people have figured it out because of things that have been said), just know that I am getting the help that I should have got 18 years ago, when what caused my problems, first happened.
  
  I am asking my listeners, and I know most of you are my friends, to please respect my privacy, and to please give up all this slander (you know who you are).  It doesn't help me get better, it makes me worse, to be honest.  It doesn't help any of you.  It doesn't help anyone.
  
  I hope to be back with you all soon :-)
