Charles, Kimberly Marie, Mikial and the GSRT forum members will discuss domestic violence with survivor Mildred Muhammad. She is the Ex-wife of the DC Sniper John Allen Muhammad that terrorizied the Washington Metropolitan area with the horrific sniper shootings. Ms Muhummad will share her story of survival, the effects of domestic violence on children and now her life's work with her organization After the Trauma Inc.
Ms Muhummad's book 'Scared Silent’, was released October 2009 by Simon and Schuster. She has also written a working journal, ‘A Survivor’s Journal’ specifically for victims and survivors to help with those anxieties that others may not understand which is available on her website. www.afterthetrauma.org
