Our Special Guest Tonight.. Singer, Songwriter JT Hollis.

JT proudly joined and served in the US Army a total of 8 years, his time in the military included serving on the front lines during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, with the 3rd Inf. Div. During his time in Germany, JT was the lead singer of a unit rock band, but the band was disbanded with the closing of his unit after the war. Music was put on the back burner, and the concentration went to his family, and raising his children. Several years ago, the fire and passion of singing/songwriting returned with a vengence, and he was back at it again. Over the years, he has reached several milestones, such as 2 time Regional Finalist for the Colgate Country Showdown, Regional Finalist for the National Bowling Karaoke Challenge. His song "Me and You, And the Red, White and Blue" reached #2 on the Independent Music Network Country Charts, as well as won the Michigan Vet Fest Theme Song Contest, which put him onstage in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. "Keep Pushing On", a memorial song for his nephew, reached #4 on Independent Music Network Charts also. In 2009, JT hooked up with guitarist and friend Scott Hatton. The musical magic started happening almost immediately. They have combined to put out "Sometimes It Takes Patience", "You Ain't Gotta Be Young (To Make It In Nashville)", I'm Alright Now", "Get Me Through This Life", and "The Road Ahead". So far "Rock'nCountry's" music has faired well, with it being picked up by several national and international radio stations. They are currently working on laying out a full album of new original music, with their own little rock n country flair.  www.jthollis.com
