Tune in Every Friday Night for a Smokin Hot Show!

Our Special Guest is Country Music Singer:

 Lathan Moore

Lathan's been singing since the age of four. Growing up in a small coal mining community where his father worked the mines for 35 years and gave Lathan an appreciation for hard work and perseverance. After graduating from Harrisburg High School in 2001, Lathan joined a country Gospel Quartet called “Eastern Sky” to sing baritone and toured for two years. Lathan also was a member of the Reliance Quartet from Paducah, Kentucky, where he sang lead. Lathan attended Southeastern Illinois Junior College on a Music Scholarship in 2001.

Lathan was active in the theater and performing arts and played many leading roles. After completing a year of college, Lathan returned to Harrisburg, IL to work in the mines in order to save enough money to move to Nashville, Tennessee so he could pursue his career as a country music singer. In 2004, Lathan entered the Southern Illinois Regional Colgate Country Showdown in Carmi, Illinois and finished in 2nd Place. As a result, he was contacted by Chelsea Studios in Nashville, TN to do some recording and for 6 months, traveled back and forth to Nashville recording demo’s. In 2004, Lathan finally had saved enough money to make the move from Illinois to Nashville and began performing in local venues and private corporate events. Lathan plays the trumpet, trombone, tuba, piano, guitar and is currently working on developing his songwriting craft. Lathan has recently released his debut album, Love In Your Life, on Blue Steel Records.
