Who Is God To You

I am going thru a really trying time in my life as I change jobs. I have always counted on God showing up and in the end making it right. I went thru an experience this weekend (a truck and load being stolen) and it took me thru a series of emotions and discoveries into who I think God is to me. This then leads to the question are my perceptions of God Biblically correct. Or, have I created an idle that fits what I want and desire God to be?
