For those out in Internet land who would like a quick recent history of activist groups’ involvement in shady voter registration and turnout schemes, check out Capital Research Center’s April 2006 Organization Trends.
In that issue of OT, Jonathan Bechtle examines liberal advocacy groups that are focusing on get-out-the vote (GOTV) efforts. The groups typically urge all Americans to vote, but do they really want conservatives to vote in force? At what point does voter turnout become voter fraud? This remains a great question to ponder as a November election approaches our nation once again.
