Indie on Air!  

Green Planet Entertainment, LLC is an entertainment marketing company located just outside of Chicago, Illinois in neighboring Indiana. We have produced over 20 rock-n-roll shows in the Midwest. Our founder and host of the upcoming radio show" Indie on Air! " is Jeff "Classic" Popka. Jeff has worked with multiple grammy winner Jim Peterik (Ides of March, Survivor, etc),
Lennon, The Exies (Courtesy of Virgin Records and The Michael Essany Show), The Smithereens, The BoDeans, Dave Mason, Jackyl,etc (Lake County Fairgrounds). He has worked with Hasbrooke Entertainment, Hasbrooke Productions and is the former owner of Godzilla Records and SoCal Burning Entertainment. He is an Executive Producer for World Talk Radio, VoiceAmerica and the new Green Talk Network. He is in charge of business development for The Chamber of Sustainability, Inc and oversees the states of Illinois and Indiana in that capacity. He is organizing tours and events, including LoveFest and the Lovely Ladies of Rock Show. He is planning on introducing some new artists to the Chicago scene in 2009. One day he plans to put together an all-green tour involving wind and solar power.  He has been called a dreamer, a visionary, a mad man and many other things unsuitable for print.
Does he care about that??? Not at all. Anyway, his shows will highlight the business aspect of music and include interesting stories of events and performers alike. His shows will feature guests from classic performers, producers, production people, publicists and especially new indie artists. Stay tuned and peace to all!
