This should be another fun show! First Dave interviews David Roberts, senior staff writer at Grist.org, about a variety of current environmental news topics. Then Sean Mathews, associate conservation scientist from the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Mark Quigley, wildlife biologist from Hoopa Tribal Forestry, will talk about the decreasing fisher population in California's Hoopla Valley (see cute photos). Next Daniel Jacobson from Environment California stops by to talk about uranium mining in the Grand Canyon that has already caused four rivers to be radioactive, and what we can do to help. Finally, in our "Healthy Living" segment, Dr. Aaron Katz, director for the Center of Holistic Urology at Columbia University, calls in to speak with Dave about the latest clinical research on prostate cancer and his book Dr. Katz' Guide to Prostate Health.

For more information on these topics, please visit www.grist.org, www.wcs.org, www.environmentcalifornia.org, www.doctorkatz.org, www.healthylivingmag.com, www.greenpatriotism.com and www.greenpatriot.org.

As always, thank you to our favorite musicians John Lee Hooker, Jr., Lukas Nelson and Philip Boone, for allowing us to use their fantastic music on our show.
